The executive director is responsible for the overall management and operation of Phoenix-N-Peace, Inc., and the protection of the organization's financial assets while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and requirements.

Immediate Supervisor: Executive Director.
General Function: Provide administrative support to the company and executive director. Duties include general clerical, receptionist and project based work. Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction

Supervisor: Program Director.
The Day Support Program Supervisor will monitor service delivery by daily observation of staff and any assistant supervisors where applicable. He/She will be responsible for training staff assigned to the day program in the implementation of consumer programs as they relate to service delivery. Assign trained staff to assist consumers with all aspects of their training. Ensure that all staff have a clear understanding of their job expectation. The Program Supervisor is responsible for the day to day operation of the program site. This includes supervision and disciplinary matters as it relates to the Program Mentors and Assistant Supervisors, ensuring adequate coverage at all times. The Program Supervisor also ensures the cleanliness of the site and reporting all needed repairs. They also ensure that all medical needs are met including proper medication administration and that medication and First aide supplies are on hand. Adequately communicate to the Program Director the need to replenish or replace items. The Program Supervisor will also be responsible for securing monies for the daily operation of the site, consumer's allowances, activities, gas, etc. and keeping adequate documentation of same.
The Program Supervisor is also responsible for maintaining all records of the consumers in a neat and orderly manner, ensuring that all reports and data are accurately completed by the established time. Scheduling staff for trainings or recertification as needed. The Program Supervisor will coordinate with the Assistant Supervisor when applicable to assure all the above things are being carried out. The Program Supervisor supervises all activities, trainings, and meetings. He/She will also develop consumer quarterlies, review reports, conduct monthly staff meetings, attends CEO staff meetings, communicate with consumer's families and case managers as needed, conduct monthly staff observations and assist Program Director with conducting quarterly staff reviews and staff annual performance reviews.
The Program Supervisor is also required to communicate to the Program Director daily any needed changes, as they relate to the service delivery to the consumers or the operation of the center and carry out all other duties as assigned.
Immediate Supervisor: Program Director.
Direct Support Professional (DSP) will serve as a care worker having direct responsibility for guidance and ·supervision of the individuals to whom he/she is assigned who have been diagnosed as intellectually disabled, mental illness or dually diagnosed; oversee physica1 care; development of acceptable habits· and attitudes; management of individual behavior and helping to meet the goals and objectives of any service plan; ensuring the daily needs of the individuals are properly met; escorts individuals to and from training and community activities as assigned, provides direct supervision and guidance to ensure safety and welfare of individuals; do a head count at the beginning, ending and periodically throughout the day to ensure presence and well-being of assigned individuals; follows established procedures to report changes/concerns to appropriate persons; observes individuals daily for behavioral changes, physical injuries/conditions and cleanliness; completes data collection in accordance with Individual Service Plan (ISP); participates in the Individual Service Plan meeting; performs required housekeeping duties in order to maintain a clean safe and orderly environment; participates in staff meetings and in-service training as assigned; plans, and implements special activities; completes special projects and other duties as assigned.
Good oral and written communication skills. The Human Resources Director guides and manages the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for the entire company. The major areas directed are:
The Human Resources Director originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. The Human Resources Director coordinates implementation of services, policies, and programs through Human Resources staff; reports to the CEO and serves on the executive management team; and assists and advises company managers about Human Resources issues.

The Human Resources assistant assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties. The HR assistant carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organization development, and employment.
The Human Resources assistant helps with the implementation of services, policies, and programs through HR staff; reports to the HR director, and assists company manager with HR issues.
Knowledge and abilities:
High School diploma or GED with at least 2 years of experience in Human Resources positions. Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labor relations, preferred but not required.

The Medical Technician Supervisor maintains the day to day operation of the medical needs of the consumers which include but are not limited to: scheduling routine medical office vistis, follow-up medical appointments and treatment, assures physician orders are carried out and documented, conducts and/or reviews performance evaluations of Medical technicians in accordance with policy; monitors Medical Technician performance on a regular basis and provides feedback; meets regularly with facility directors and staff; communicates regularly with the consumer's primary physician, medical specialiists, pharmacist; monitors medical equipment and supplies; reviews curriculum and service delivery model; evaluates consumers referred and receiving services; monitors implementation of programs; coordinates and monitors the documentation process; orientate, trains and supervises program managers; prepares staffing reports; ensures implementation of Individual Service Plan; participates in Consumer Service Plan meetings; make program modifications as needed; reviews. signs, and date program data collection process; coordinate all services offered to each consumer; ensures consumers exhiibits signs of good personal hygiene; investigates consumers and staff incidents and complete required documentation; ensures compliance with consumers' rights; ensures consumer-to-staff ratio is maintained as established by residence; participates in discharge planning; monitors behavioral management; ensure the safety and the well being of the consumers by scheduling monthly fire drills.

Under general supervision, is responsible for the physical care of residents through non-professional nursing tasks of routine difficulty; directs routine activities of the nursing/residential unit.
Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.Assists residents with dressing, bathing oral hygiene and related personal care. Serves food, feeds residents and collects trays when necessary. Maintains clean and dry bed, changes bed linen, gathers and deposit is soiled laundry. Lifts residents in and out of beds and wheelchairs, positions residents when necessary. Observes residents to report physical and behavioral symptoms to medical to medical personnel in charge. Takes and records resident's blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration and weight. Makes routine entries into residents' charts. Runs errands for residents; directs visitors; shares responsibilities for use of equipment and supplies. Does alcohol rubs and massages. Applies compresses, ice bags, and hot water bottles. Observes residents and reports adverse reactions to medication or treatment to medical personnel in charge. Administers specified medication, orally or topically, and notes time and amount on residents' charts. Sterilizes equipment and supplies. Prepares or examines food trays for prescribed diets; records food and fluid intake and output. Makes suggestions to improve work methods, trains new employees; makes routine entries into logs, records supplies and materials used, personal property received from residents. Completes requisitions for supplies and forwards to supervisor for approval.

The Quality Assurance Director assists the Executive Director in defining the standards to be followed in order to meet the requirements as outlined in local state and federal regulations to effectively operate the agency for both the staff and the individuals receiving services.
The Quality Assurance Director reports to the CEO and serves on the executive management team; and assists and advises company managers about quality assurance issues.
Knowledge and abilities:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree. Three plus years of progressive leadership experience and supervisory experience. Ability to identify problems, and initiate corrective actions and preventative actions. Knowledge of state local and federal regulations of Human Rights and the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services. Customer oriented and service minded. Capable of analyzing data in order to support the development of strategies to effectively manage action plans that will resolve company issues. Ability to communicate both written and orally, to all levels of management and across different cultural backgrounds. Ability to identify problems, and initiate corrective actions and preventative actions.
Immediate Supervisor: Quality Assurance Director.
This is responsible clerical and supervisory work reviewing master records, program records, staff personnel records. Work involves reviewing all records for accuracy and for omission of documents. Works also involves responsibility for contacting program directors or other intra and inter agency staff for the necessary information or signatures on documents. Should exercise considerable initiative, independent judgment, and discretion in performing their duties. Communication must be maintained between both the Quality Assurance Director and the Managerial staff. The quality of work is evaluated by observation of results and through feedback from the Quality Assurance Director and Executive Director.
